Brandon Martin
Senior Pastor
Pastor Brandon Martin became the Pastor of Momeyer Baptist in November of 2025. His desire is to see people come to saving faith in Christ and continually mature in their walk with Christ.
Brandon has been in full-time ministry since 2013. Before coming to Momeyer he served as the Discipleship and Missions Pastor at a church in South Georgia. He has also served churches in South Carolina and North Georgia. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Youth Ministry from North Greenville University and later earned his Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Brandon met his beautiful wife, Natalie, while they were students at North Greenville. They have 3 wonderful children, James, Selah, and Hazel. When they’re not serving together they enjoy spending time together as a family, going kayaking, visiting museums, and any other adventures they can find.

Chris Sorensen
Pastor Emeritus
Pastor Chris Sorensen and his wife Linda have been married for over 50 years! They continue to set a great example of serving the Lord together. They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
Chris walked away from a career with the Carolina Power and Light Lake Hyco Power Plant in Roxboro, NC on the day of his 20th work anniversary to accept God’s call to ministry at age 42 and never looked back. God gave Chris a burden to serve Him that could only be fulfilled by total surrender to a life of ministry. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC and pastored 4 churches over the next 22 years.
Chris faithfully pastored – Harriet Baptist, Henderson NC (1995-2001) – Timberlake Baptist, Roxboro, NC (2001-2007) – Union Chapel Baptist, Clarksville, VA (2008-2014) – Crystal Hill Baptist, South Boston, VA (2015-2017). Chris was honored as Pastor Emeritus in 2025 after serving as an Interim Pastor and Senior Adult Pastor at Momeyer Baptist Church.
